The program offers many benefits to its members. The most important is the exclusive opportunity to influence the research and education in the computer-science department, and to participate in long range technical assessments of problems and directions in the field. Contacts with prospective employees can be established easily. Special seminars and mini-courses focusing on company technologies can be arranged. Faculty members are available for informal technical discussions and more formal presentations.

  • Find research partners for joint proposals for the Chief Scientist and the European Community.

  • Advertise job openings on the department website and electronic board in CS lobby.

  • Attend the departmental annual “Research Day” - a graduate students poster event.
  • Participate in the annual meeting of the Industry Advisory Board.
  • Offer guest lectures in academic courses.
  • Attend department seminars, conferences and summer schools.
  • Offer mini-courses and extracurricular lectures on technological topics and soft skills.
  • Send company employees to audit academic courses.

Exposure and PR

  • Increase company visibility within the department by advertising the company logo on the “Industrial Affiliates” web page and on a plaque in the department lobby.
  • Distribute announcements of student-related company events to all students (recruitment days, mini-courses etc.).
  • Advertise in “Homepage” – the department’s semi-annual magazine, which is distributed to all depart graduates, students, faculty and industry members (est. 8000 people) *This feature requires extra charge.
